What is your opinion on this subject ,and how well do you implement it at your places of work .Is it a necessary evil and how do you rate the local schemes ie the american system or english system or what would you like done differently.

Health and Safety is a necessary good for all industrial processes and construction sites. Afterall, "the only thing that someone has to loose is their limb or life." Its worth very penny spent on. However, i have seen factories that ignore basic safety practices out of disregard for the lifes of their employees.
